I have worked at the University for five years, following the age-old ANU tradition of starting out in Admissions. I am currently the Deputy Manager for ELICOS and Pathways. Previously I wore the many hats of regional manager, eCommerce manager, and franchise co-ordinator for Good Games, with experience in the world of hospitality before that (nothing too fancy, I’m a burger man at heart).
My passion in the workplace is to find ways to improve processes and policy, to better the experience for our students and our team. I strongly believe in establishing strategic objectives based on tangible data, in standardising and documenting processes to best compare results and collaborate between teams, and in identifying metrics to work towards to achieve success. I appreciate that may sound like LinkedIn nonsense, but I only have so many words to share with you here. My approach in cutting through the institutional inertia of “we’ve always done it that way” has
been; where there’s a will, there’s a way – probably using Excel.
If you find my free time relevant (or if you find it at all, please let me know), I enjoy tabletop gaming, making homemade ice cream, and being my children’s bouncy castle. Please feel free to reach out if you’d like to know more.
