Artificial Intelligence is no longer a future concept, it is actively reshaping how we think, decide and operate across disciplines. The real question now is not what AI is, but how we understand its impact and where we choose to intervene.
Join ANU alumni in Seattle for a focused panel examining AI through distinct but connected lenses, from technology and mobility to neuroscience and policy.
This event is led and moderated by ANU Global Alumni Volunteer Emmylia Darmadi Lee, whose work continues to bring alumni together around timely and thought-provoking conversations.
The panel features
- Emil Davityan, Founder in AI and Mobility,
- Professor Adrienne Fairhall, neuroscientist at the University of Washington, and
- Todd Harple, Director of Innovation and Sports Equity Strategy at the Sports Equity Lab, Stanford University School of Medicine.
Structured as a three-part discussion, the session will first explore how “intelligence” is being defined in 2026 and the developments shaping the field. It will then turn to the less visible dimensions of AI, including environmental and societal implications that are not receiving enough attention. The conversation will close by focusing on action, asking what one change could meaningfully shift AI accountability and direction.
This is an opportunity to engage with nuanced perspectives, challenge assumptions, and connect with fellow alumni working across complex and evolving fields.
