2026 Graduation Celebrations

The 2026 graduation celebrations will take place from Wednesday, 28 January through Friday, 6 February 2026 at Llewellyn Hall (excluding weekend). We look forward to celebrating our students’ amazing accomplishments early next year. Students who had their Award/s conferred in 2025 will receive an email invitation to their ANU or ANU Alumni email account later this year.

Frequently Asked Questions – 2026 Graduations

When will I be invited to the 2026 graduation ceremony? 

All graduates who had their Award/s conferred in 2025 will receive an invitation to the 2026 graduation ceremony via their ANU or ANU Alumni email by November/December 2025. 

When will I know the date and time of my ceremony? 

Ceremony allocations are now finalised above. Note that each ceremony has capacity limits, and ceremony dates and times may change once reached. 

Who will be invited to the 2026 graduation ceremonies?  

All students who confer in 2025 will be invited to attend the graduation ceremony. Conferral refers to the official awarding of your degree(s). This is when you receive your Testamur, Transcript, and AHEGS. The next conferral date is 17 December 2025, and this will be the date shown on your official conferral documents.  

The graduation ceremony is a separate event where you wear academic regalia and walk across the stage to celebrate your achievement. 

We look forward to celebrating our students' remarkable achievements early next year. 

Where will the ceremonies be held? 

All ceremonies will take place at Llewellyn Hall on the ANU campus in Canberra.  

What are the ceremony dates? 

Ceremonies will run from Wednesday 28 January to Friday 6 February 2026, across one and a half weeks. 

Can I attend a different ceremony from the one I was allocated to?

If the date and time of your allocated ceremony do not suit you, you are welcome to email the Graduation Office after you receive your invitation, and we can review available options for you
