Each year the School of Demography may offer one prize known as the Gavin Jones Demography Prize.

The objective/s of the prize are:
The main objective of the Gavin Jones’ Award is to encourage and support research on topics that defined Gavin’s research, fieldwork, and teaching focus. ÐÓ°É´«Ã½ers working on the topics Asian demography, and family demography, are candidates to receive this award.
The value of the prize/s awarded is $1300.
The prize will be on offer from 2025.
